Now, on this show, the Joy of Living, we work with three fundamental principles, and those three fundamental principles are, number one, life.

Your life has purpose, and when your life has purpose, the corollary, the result of that is you can go MAD.

Now, in this case, MAD is a wonderful acronym 'cause MAD stands for go make a difference.

'Cause you live a purposeful life, you can now make a difference with your every thought, word, and deed.

And one of the best ways to do that, the third fundamental, is to uncover the secrets and the power of everyday words and terms.

Ask anybody, "What does www stand for?" And invariably they'll tell you, "Well, that's to do with the internet, of course." And factually speaking, they're correct.

But in our world, the world of the positive, purposeful, powerful, and pleasant, www stands for, drum roll, fanfare, da-dun-da-da, What a Wonderful World [laughs].

Tip of the hat, of course, to the wonderful Satchmo, Louis Armstrong, for enabling that song to go worldwide and touch hundreds of millions, if not billions of people around the planet.

And whenever you hear even the opening bars of What a Wonderful World, right away, what do you do? You smile [laughs].

Now, invariably, whether I'm speaking to 50 people or 5,000, and it's happening right now, I have 1, 8, 10, 15 messages up on the board all saying the same thing.

People come up to me after I speak and say, "Uh, Barry Shore, I've been up for hours already.

I haven't seen any miracles." And I ask them, "Are you here? Can you hear? Can you see? Do you have water to drink? Do you have food to eat? Do you have a place to sleep? Do you have family? Do you have friends?" If you have any of those things, those are miracles, miraculous situations.

You know why? Because think about it, millions of people did not get out of bed this morning.

And we're in the midst of a pandemic right now, so unfortunately, many more people are dying today than even a month or two or three ago.

But this show is timeless, so just think, every single day, more than a million people don't get out of bed 'cause they died.
