I'm so glad to be in Charleston at your house with

you on this beautiful summer day.

I do feel like this is so long coming, but now I'm a little glad we waited.

You and I went to dinner earlier this week and I was telling like what I would say my House of Color story.

And I don't know.

I was like, I think I needed perspective on my own personal journey to be able to ask you the right questions.

Yes, I love that.

I mean, it really is a journey, isn't it? From when you first learn about your colors, your style, how to show up in the world.

I mean, it's a journey that we're all on.

I'm going to start with how I met you, and then I want to get into your story since then.

So I, we just looked back at the pictures the other day.

It was early 2023.

It was January 2023.

And I'm curious to hear your perspective as you track like the trend of women getting their colors done.

Would you say that was like pretty early on? I don't think it had like gone viral necessarily online.

Like women were doing it.

Yes.

And, you know, where it was in the company too in 2023, we had just, you know, really crested from the pandemic.

Yeah.

During the pandemic, it had started to become on TikTok.

Yeah, that's true.

But it started in Korea and then trickled over our way.

And so it was just getting to be where people were Getting it done, applying it, finding out different companies they wanted to try.
