for something that I could do where I was around people and something creative and it needed to bring an income, right? So I go and I get this done, really looking at it through a couple different filters.

But what I didn't know what happened was it was like the lights came back on for me.

My gosh.

My youngest was just over one, and I just really was hiding behind just baggy clothes, dull makeup.

I never liked my hair, but I didn't know why.

And so I'd cry in the salon parking lot and then get it done again two months later and think it would change how I looked, and it didn't.
