Well, and building on that, because not only the cultural issues and negotiating overseas, but when you think about, and I'll probably, Julie, come to you after this as a follow-up to Liz, because you both face the same issues, right? What lessons have you learned about building credibility and confidence as a woman in business, especially in a position of significant power and decision-making? Yeah.
You know, what's really I was thinking about that earlier today and some of the first few trips I went, you know, I remember being in one meeting in Taiwan and, you know, I was there with my boss, of course, as a man.
Within the time that I've been here at Taylor, they kind of defer to the other person who is a man and not me.
And so, but I've always had... been fortunate to have the people that i travel with if they're men they support me they know that i'm making the decision not them and that's really fortunate um so in china that's like a very very important thing and um but other than that in women in business the confidence the The credibility, you know, it takes time.
And it's like I'm trying to... have confidence and make the decision in what I believe.
And I always say, I'm going to go down fighting until I'm told no, because if I truly believe in something, I want to have that conviction.
You know, and so, but with women, and I don't know if Julia's experienced this or if you have, Cindy, it's that If we're being really, really strong, it's more negative.
And, you know, there's been several men that I've worked with that have said things about me and they're like,
Or somebody who I got along with really, really well, but I know that he was very kind of direct and harsh with others.
And so with men, it just seems, or in my experience, the men always seem to get, that's just the way they are.
