I know you just started this new bar, but what bar were you working at when you were going through world class?

And did the bar take advantage of this in any way of being like, hey, one of our bartenders is top 15 and she made this cocktail? Yeah.

They were excited for me, but I didn't really get a lot of the support that I was hoping I would have gotten from them.

It was a lot of hoops that I had to go through to even try and practice over there.

They're more very dive and very... community focus within their little pocket and it's like it

just didn't would you say it just didn't matter to them they didn't see the upside of the recognition would help

it mattered but it just didn't i don't think they really understood the grasp of like how big it was you know like because yeah there's a few other things that i was getting recognized for i'm trying to remember there was another time but um yeah it's it's just it's it wasn't I understood.

I was grateful for the help that they were willing to offer to, you know, like, I don't want to seem like I wasn't ungrateful.

But yeah, it was just it was that was one of the reasons I kind of did end up going somewhere else just because I want I didn't really feel and I wasn't really learning anything, too.

And at some point you get to a point of the level that you were at with competitions and whatever, and getting that sort of recognition just from the more global bartending community.

But you still need to grow at the place that you're working at if this is what you're looking to do going forward.

You want to be in a bar or a community of bars that sees this and is also pushing you to succeed in different ways and maybe pushing you to get better.
