So in case Mike didn't, I think you said it, we're at the Bali, um, Natural Bodybuilding Summit that was ran by Brandon Kempner and Rachel, uh, Kempner as well, who decided to bring me over as a coach.
Also Dirk, we had Nathan Wallace here as well, and obviously Jacob part of their team as well, presenting, but then coaching Mike and other kind of very serious natural bodybuilders in the gym, giving them a kind of a taster of our training philosophy and seeing if we can help them get a bit more from their training and learn more.
It's-- I was saying, I don't know who, who to, but several people, like, when Brandon was basically doing the final farewells where everyone got a certificate, which was really cool and very nice touch, it's just like, this feels like I'm saying, like, goodbye to really good friends.
The thing that I've-- I guess this is a great place to start, like, a, a take home from it, for me at least, hopefully yours is different.
It's probably the same, but maybe you can think of another one whilst I'm explaining it.
Is, like, the importance of community within natural bodybuilding, 'cause ultimately it can be a selfish qui- it is a solo sport, if you call it a sport.
No one else is, uh, you're not kind of on stage together as a couple, you're, you're showing and showcasing your own physique.
But we can help one another by collaborating to bring our best physiques, to learn from one another, but also just support.
One thing I'll say just from my perspective of being a coach, as I've said s-several times, like I have done in Crew of Effect, I have imposter syndrome.
I was nervous surrounding this event and being like, "Oh, people are looking at me to like coach them through sessions." Like, I'm not that guy.
But everyone was just so great and so easy to help kind of just get the most from them, and they were just looking for the best in me and one another, not trying to tear one another down, and that's what I hate to see in natural bodybuilding.
So that collaborative bringing up, what do you say, Mike? Like a, a rising tide brings up-
Rising raises all boats.
And so, yeah, I've, I've a huge honor of being here as a coach, and then massive gratitude to you, Mike, and any of the people that came, and also Brandon and the other coaches.
Uh, I think everyone by about day two was like, "So when's the next one?" [chuckles]
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Totally.
I, I would almost start on that point where just, I just feel this overwhelming sense of gratitude to have the ability to come here in the first place, to have the finances, the free time, and the opportunity to come here.
For Brandon, Rachel, Jacob, for all of the guys, for organizing this, for you, Steve.
Um, and yeah, so I think it's just that gratitude, that gratitude to be able to connect with like-minded individuals.
