Forty eight hours after the games, the injury headlines are already warping fantasy football decisions, and we’re here to slow the panic down with real sports medicine context. I’m Dr. Evan Jeffries…

Um, so the good thing, there wasn't any major, major injuries, right? When you look at football over this weekend, you know, nobody's out for the year.

Um, there's some injuries that, like A.J. Brown, where he's gonna be out for four weeks.

We got Brock Bowers, who had the knee surgery, which we're gonna talk about today, um, 'cause it's still, you know, we're still in that process of can he actually play week two or is that impossible reach? But I wanted to kinda get today's show started with Jalen Cocker or Coker, however you pronounce his last name.

Um, Tedarrell McMillan, you know, kind of almost took a back seat, but we do know that Cocker is going to play that second receiver.

He's gonna be on the field most of the time, so that is a good thing, um, for this team.

However, he came out of the game with [lip smack] he called more of a rolled ankle.

I would err on the side of caution, but at the same time, if he says he's fine, the boot is...

They're always gonna put you in a boot because they wanna take the, the weight off the ankle, the force off the ankle and give you your best chance to just heal over the next couple days.

Um, so I think the big thing will be what's his, what's the injury report on Wednesday? Did he practice Wednesday? Will he practice Thursday? And if for some reason he's not practicing Wednesday or Thursday, then we're really gonna be on the lookout for that Friday.

But if he is available in your league at all, I think he's available in like 61% of the leagues in Yahoo! Or, or, uh, yeah, I think he's still available in some, or he's reg- he's rostered in 61%, I believe.

I, I don't know how much they're gonna run the ball with, uh, Chubb and, and, and Jonathan Brooks this year.

I feel like with, they had Rico, they can get the, the ball running a little bit more.

But I think to- this team is gonna be passing a lot and it, and it looks good for Bryce Young and this young team.

[coughs] They obviously can't play any defense, right? They gave up 59 points to the Chicago Bears.

So I don't think that's anything for anybody to really worry about and whether or not you need to pick him up or not.

I would drop, drop people like, uh, Stribling, you know, if you got him on your roster.
