After helping thousands of practitioners over the past 21 years, I've unfortunately seen a clear and sad pattern, which is this.

From the time you were young, you were told to study hard, get good grades, you know, work hard.

And one day, maybe you'll become a doctor and you'll have a business or practice or work in a hospital.

And that might work out and you'll make good money, right? But that's awesome if you want to be a great clinician.

Because unfortunately, medicine rewards expertise, but business rewards leverage.

And if you got into this to help more people, which by the way, should also include yourself, then you're able to realize why being busy is the new broke and how to solve that so you can be less busy and actually make more money, help more people, and and regain your life.

The problem with being a practitioner, or to be honest, a lot of service-based experts, is that, you know, for the lack of a better term, you're a glorified and well-paid slave.

The way that I think about this is the more necessary you are to your practice, the less valuable your practice is and is.

Instead, what we wanna think about, and as kind of like as a guiding question throughout this video is, is what I'm doing, what I'm about to kind of do and kind of bring into the practice, does this make my practice more dependent on me or less? And that's the question around leverage that I want you to kind of keep in the back of your mind, okay? When I think of wealth, I think of not necessarily money.
