The whole parasha of the Isha Sifas Toya, the beginning of this week's parasha, as we discussed after davening one of these days, was the idea of the Eshes Yefas Toyah as carrying a lost Yiddish Neshama.
And the whole parish of a soldier getting drawn towards this Eshes Yefas Toyah, attracted to the Eshes Yefas Toyah is in order to bring lost Neshamas home.
And this is really something that we are busy with, and something that every Eid has to be busy with.
And when you think of lost neshamas, you don't only have to be thinking of neshamas that are stuck in Florida.
There's neshamas our own, there's halakim of our own neshamas stuck all over the place.
A yeed does an aveira, a yeed distances himself one day from Hashem, so parts of his neshamas go astray.
The whole Chodesh El is the month of Gathering together, tshuva means to return.
We have to make a cheshvan nevesh that all the lost parts of ourselves and all other yidn have to come back to the shoresh.
