One parody stands above them all when it comes to making fun of Twilight! It isn't some high budget Hollywood spoof or celebrity jab! It is instead a fan-made parody that somehow got it it right in…
And it was done by Glyph Productions, but I could not find anything on the cast who created it, who was actually Glyph Productions.
Yes.
I do know it went on to actually have a full theatrical run.
It did.
But all the websites connected to it are dead.
They are dead.
Whatever software they were using back in the day is also dead now, so I can't go to any of their other links other than the front page.
Yeah, a little disappointing.
I do have a little bit of knowledge of Glyph Productions, but I'm gonna admit I wasn't a hardcore fan when they were popular.
This came out in 2009 is kind of the time frame we're looking at here.
Having your own school or friend-made group of theatrics was kind of popular in the right circle of fandom and nerdy theater kids.
And I think the most successful example of this is by far Star Kids, where you have a bunch of people who come together and essentially make up their own shit.
And a lot of the times the stuff that you make up is parodies of other shit because that's fun.
And it's honestly a good way to get started in learning how to make plays, learning how to write your own musicals.
And so Glyph Productions is in that same vein.
Yeah.
We're
a bunch of kids.
We're figuring out our own stuff.
This one is all like the YouTube one is just filmed at their high school and like one friend's house.
Yeah.
And I
love that.
