Episode 16 - Married to the Mob

So we both decided that we're going to watch this same movie and then give our thoughts on it.

And I've suggested Married to the Mob.

Where did that come from? Because it's a very random deep cut.

Yeah.

I don't know.

I think I downloaded some random like Mubi or Tubi or like one of those weird apps and it came up.

I ended up really liking it.

I just thought it was such a fun, stupid movie.

It's from the 80s.

It stars Michelle Pfeiffer.

I thought it was just really funny.

Then actually the second time I watched it, it was funnier.

I didn't think it was

funny at all.

Really? It's like, why is this considered a comedy? What did you think

was real about it?

She's so miserable.

Yeah.

So put upon.

She's miserable.

And then these like bad guys are after her the whole time.

And she's just this like poor, sad, depressed.

She gets a horrible haircut.

They could not have made her look less like Michelle Pfeiffer in the 80s.

Okay.
