You know, like, I kind of wanted them to get far enough so then you could see them, like, lose at, like, a semi-final stage.

You know, we all, a lot of people in Ireland support, it's weird, like, we all support, like, English teams and stuff, like, a lot of us anyway.

But I heard, like, even you hear the pundits after, like, there's a lot of talk about...

this isn't going to be a football podcast but because England getting better is obviously the chat right now everyone seems to be delighted everyone's delighted really but all the English pundits are like saying that Tuchel brought on all the defenders and sat back and invited on the pressure and that was exactly what Argentina wanted and that's why they lost and they just keep all these takes that's basically basically they're saying it was as simple as that We brought on too many defenders.

We took off Gordon, attacking player on the wing and invited too much pressure and Argentina picked him off.

But this is the thing about English media, that's why a lot of people don't like them is because they were there saying they're definitely the better team and all this.

I know people said they got a few decisions going their way, but they still found a way to win.

It was as simple as, Sherlock, we didn't, it was simple as if he didn't take out, if he didn't bring all the defenders and we stayed attacking, we would have won.
