You need it for... put propulsion you know and everyone's trying to be a runner but so many of my patients can't do 20 single leg calf raises some of them can't do 10 wow you know so and then anyway when you're running you're putting like four and a half times your body weight through it and you're pushing off each time so you're gonna have to compensate and take take loads elsewhere

so calf raises will be another one um and then i think like let's say some just like toe activation stuff where you're just trying to move the big toe, move the lesser toes.

But to be able to do that does take, you know, control and toe activation, toe strength.

Like if we wear ballet flats all the time, tight shoes and your toes are constantly compressed, you don't use your toes.
