He is someone who I've known for over a decade, and when we met, it was the time when he had the idea for the Beeston Film Festival, which is now a wonderful and very established popular UK-based short film festival who love their filmmakers, and has also now become BIFA qualifying for British short films.
I'm a huge fan of this festival, and I've loved watching it grow since day one.
