Elite: Dangerous and all the decent early access titles that have come out of Steam over the years such as Subnautica, Ark: Survival Evolved, The Forest, Conan Exiles and so on.

We've obviously got a lot of crowdfunded MMOs that are still in development such as Crowfall, Pantheon: Camelot Unchained, Ashes of Creation, Star Citizen Fractured and so on.

These games all seem to be making decent progress and none of them seem to be scams, but we'll have to wait and see if any of them actually get finished.

Now, Ark: Survival Evolved, sweaty game, bro.

So it's a survival crafting game.

So what about the rest of the game? Really fucking good.

[laughs] So to give the briefest possible gameplay, like, summary, Palworld is like Ark: Survival Evolved, Rust.

It's, it is a survival-like game, with the main thing being that it is themed around catching monsters, like in a Pokemon game, but you can put those monsters, those pals, to work in your base.

That is, like, the, the overview is basically like it's the, it's the game where you can, you know, enslave Pikachu and make him build guns for you until he, like, croaks.

It is something that a lot of other games have done.

So it's a good fucking thing that they really knocked it out of the park with a lot of the pals.

Because, like, the, the main draw of it is basically that, A, if you have ever played an Ark: Survival Evolved or whatever solo, single player, not in a multiplayer match, you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to make your own base.

Well, now you have pals.

Like, the more and more time we have to spend going, "Is this real?" like, it just gets boring.

It's such a time suck, and because we have a financial incentive to fight through that, like, of course we'll keep doing it, but for somebody that's just, like, trying to fucking engage with the internet, they're gonna be like, "This is stupid." I was watching a video, if you guys have ever heard of a game called, um, Ark, Ark Survival, Ark Ascended.

Uh, this game is blowing up, getting absolutely massive.

Uh, it's a pretty tragic tale, and what ended up happening is hackers just got so good at basically turning all of their servers into 2B2T.

And that's, like, really where this ends because it will, it will get unenjoyable very fast if you can't trust anything.
