Talk to me about how within that you manage and pay attention to your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual health, how all those things are connected within that lens.

Yeah, I have two core beliefs that are really foundational to every aspect of my life.

I share that with my keynote audiences when I'm speaking at a large event at a conference.

I share that in my one woman comedy show and in theaters as I tour across the country.

And I just think it's such an important tool because if you think about it, and this is kind of how I go through it with my keynote audiences, I'll have them make a fist, right? So if you make a fist with your left hand, And you think about that as a closed mind, right? You're just, you're overwhelmed, you're just playing over it.

it's not that you're a bad person or, you know, it's not that the closed mind is an awful thing.

then if you have your right hand and you kind of like, open your hand and kind of do like a little jazz hand wave type of thing.

If you think about that as new ideas, new possibilities and an open mind, there's so much possibility, right? Because, you know, it's just like you're waving at things, you can hold things.

So the best way to open your mind to receive new ideas, new value is to relax that fist.

So that closed fist and what you're left with is this open palm and that's where all this juicy goodness can land.

I talk to people about laughter lightens the load you hold, what I want them to do is open their minds to receive new possibilities and to be open to new ideas.

Very hard to be completely stressed out and hysterical laughing at the same time.
