And we talked about this before the recording about, because the topic at hand we're going to talk about is peptides and how optimizing your mitochondrial function could actually make peptides work better, both endogenous and exogenous peptides.
So on that note, like with losing weight, irrespective of how you do it, if you're losing weight, you're actually decreasing the inflammation in your body because the fat cells that accumulate around your gut or wherever it accumulates other than around your organs are pro-inflammatory.
Mitochondrial dysfunction begets more inflammation, oxidative stress, and it's just a vicious cycle.
So you go from being slightly overweight to quite a bit overweight to obese to sometimes, oh man, what's that word? for when you're like more obese, morbidly obese, when you're like 40 and above or 35 and above, but regardless, um, as you're losing weight, whether it's through exercise and diet, whether it's through intermittent fasting, fasting, whether it's through read a true title or other GLP ones, as you're losing that fat, you're actually decreasing the amount of pro inflammatory signals from that fat.
So you're actually just by losing weight, you're actually making your body more receptive to its internal, um, milieu and concoction of its own peptides, which include GLP ones, which are right.
synthesized and produced in your gut and then they have the effect so like losing weight begets less inflammation which begets better mitochondrial function which begets better sensitivity of your internal peptides and beyond so it's a beautiful thing yes it's potentially considered an easy button but it gives you that stepping stone to better mitochondrial function better peptide sensitivity which includes things like insulin so like of course type 2 diabetes and beyond
I think I brought this up a couple of weeks ago when we were having a conversation.
And, you know, I think the conversation we were having back then is like, you know, why mitochondrial supplements? It's like, well, in a zero sum scenario or like in the natural state, you know, sure, your body produces all this stuff, but we've introduced so many environmental signals that Right.
To where like maybe your mitochondria needs that additional help to deal with the extra.
What was the word that we'd use like for, you know, electromagnetic frequencies that or relax potential or.
I think what we're environmental signals, there's a much better word for it that I'm looking for.
As it relates to mitochondria function? What is the thing that comes off of the sun that interferes with your mitochondria? You're going to get it.
