And I know I have said before that I am not the biggest Night Reign fan, but I had a tremendous time with the game at launch and in the months following.

And Crimson, I know you've actually stayed with the game a lot longer than I did from a consistency standpoint.

As we kick this off, though, I'm curious, Crimson, as to what you felt like and what you were thinking when you first saw the trailer for Night Rain going all the way back to the trailer.

Because, I mean, I remember when that came out at the Game Awards, but we were not doing the show together at that point.
Well, I know for me, I ended up seeing the trailer probably the day after.
At that time, I was still a new father, so I was kind of just trying to get what sleep I could.
But I remember as soon as I got the notification of that trailer, when I was at work the next day, I hopped on it right away to see what FromSoft was cooking.
I remember seeing the trailer and just looking so forward to seeing what FromSoft could do with Night Ring, especially because, to my knowledge at the time, they had not really been planning any more Elden Ring stuff.
Yeah, and then after the trailer, I remember... getting towards launch, I got so excited because by that time they had revealed all the Nightfarers and I kind of figured I knew who I was going to be playing.
I did start with Recluse and looking back on the trailer now, it's interesting to see what they put in the game versus what the trailer kind of presented because looking back on the trailer I saw that the gaping maw and the frenzy beasts were both enemies that seems like you you were gonna actually fight in the main area that the rounds take place on not in that final big desert arena.

Yeah, and I will say that could be just from the fact that maybe those arenas weren't even ready yet.

You know, when they made the trailer, maybe they had to use that arena for the fight for the trailer footage because that's all that was done.

I mean, hearing you talk about your thoughts on the trailer and then the excitement leading up to launch, that's how I felt, too.

And also, the Battle Royale elements turned some people off, the multiplayer, the movement.

It was a real wake-up call moment, I think, for some people in terms of accepting whether they were the target audience for that game or not.

I've said before, I don't necessarily feel like I'm especially the target audience for Night Rain, but even I still had a great time with it.
