Lands Between

And I really want to dive into things with the Ruined Forges.

These are new dungeon types that are in- introduced in the DLC.

I wanted to jump then to a response from King420, who has definitely written in before.

King420 wrote, "Hi Spartan, I wanted to ask, has anyone ever looked up anything about the bat women? You coming in here talking about some of this stuff made me remember that I listened to their song in Latin, which is referred to as Song of Lament and it says something along the lines of, 'Oh, we who are supposed to be mothers are now disfigured and abandoned by grace, old land which once was blessed, but now is diminished.' I think the bat women were a normal race of people like the misbegotten that were disfigured somehow by Marika." King420, those bat women, I mention them all the time just for vibes, especially the ones with the Runestoon Precipice because they are such an integral part of why that climb feels so cool.

One of the times we do the Wildlife of the Lands Between episode, maybe I'll make sure to mention them.

I always feel weird counting certain creatures as wildlife because the bat women feel very different.

There are actually a couple more, but some of those are going to be next week.

But the two that I want to include today when we get to the midpoint of the episode, we had some people, Nate and Jonas, longtime listeners, longtime responders, write in with their own ideas about the worst jobs in the lands between because that is The last episode that we had up on the show was the worst nine to fives in the Lance between Crimson and I had a lot of fun with that one.

If anybody hasn't checked that one out, I highly recommend it.

I think it's one of the best episodes of the show, but.

This is very vibrant.

I mean, gold everywhere, light, heavenly vibes on this side.

So contrasting there, but just the way it fits into the sky, into the world above the lands between.

But exploring Inira Limb I always kept thinking about how it would be so jarring to have such horrible things because, I mean, we know what horn scent religion was capable of.

It is our solemn duty.

We will teach you about the world of Elden Ring, which is called the Lands Between.

And if you've played the game before, you will be like, I've heard of those characters, which is also a pretty good start.

But keep in mind, this is me recounting the plot of a video game I played only a little bit.

It's close enough.
