I thought we could, because the weather's been so nice.

What are we doing around Edinburgh these days? Because of, you know, it's beautiful it's autumn it's still warm what have we been up to past couple weekends girls

I went to see High Society with my mum when she was up and it was warm enough to walk home.

Although if you asked her, she'd probably say it was absolutely freezing.

But I was like, no, it's warm enough to walk down the hill.

Yeah.

So that was amazing.

And as per usual, the Playhouse put on an absolutely excellent show.

So what is High Society? So

it's the musical version of the Philadelphia story whereby there's a woman from Connecticut, High Society...

Connecticut who is marrying someone who everyone else recognizes is the wrong person for her and her ex-husband turns up who is the right person for her but he's just yeah he's an ex and it's just about how that pans out and the wrong guy is an accountant and he actually made some jokes during the that only accountants got.

And I found them hilarious.

They made a joke about accruals and only a handful of people in the audience laughed.

I would love that joke too.

I was one of them.

Yeah, it was really funny.

But everyone else is sitting there going, I think this is account

speak.

was it a was it a tick mark against him that he was an accountant

in the show yes because they made out that he was a bit dull as a result of that

that is not right some of the most funny people i've ever met are accountants well definitely the most repressed people the females Yeah, maybe we're repressed so we save it all and we like externalize it by jokes.
