Okay, so it starts with, "From that time on, Jesus began to explain to his disciples." So he's just starting to explain to them about his death.

He's going to die and suff-- he's going to suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the law.

Well, this is the first time that Jesus teaches this, and how do his disciples react? Peter, in verse twenty-two, this is what he does: Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

"This shall never happen to you." So when you rebuke someone, you're basically telling them that they're wrong, that they shouldn't do something.

This shall n-never happen to you." I remember my father once said to me the words "never" and "Lord," those two words don't go together.
