*"*If somehow this tape outlives me, I need you to know something.*"* **A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama** Episode Name: **Recon** November 25, 2287 - Log 029 Day Thirty Four - Early Evening…
November 25th, 2287.
Day thirty...four, I think.
It's been a few days since I last recorded.
Nick and I are holed up at the edge of the glowing sea.
I felt it was important to do some serious recon before venturing any further.
Running into what is essentially ground zero for the nuclear apocalypse would be a monumentally stupid idea, and a quick way to get dead.
We've been here for a full day, set up just north of Vault 95.
I had two team members assigned to that vault.
That was the one vault we already had intelligence on.
Well, at least some.
We had an idea of what kind of occupant Vault-Tec wanted there.
I mean, they weren't very subtle about it.
They ran radio and TV ads asking for people that had chem addictions to sign up.
We decided it would be best to send two operatives in.
That way they could keep an eye out for each other.
We didn't want to risk someone actually using and losing control.
In our line of work, control means survival.
So, I assigned our counterintelligence operator, Lena Park, and our team medic, Eli Turner, to the vault.
Lena went undercover as a recovering addict, and Eli as a long-time chem user.
He had the background for it.
Eli had a rough upbringing.
His mother was a prostitute that overdosed when he was five.
His father was a criminal and killer.
His father took him to the store to get him candy when he was 11.
While there and in front of Eli, his father killed a store clerk and two customers robbing the store.
