Okay, so on today's podcast, it's all about little things that you can do that can make a big change in your life, and I'm gonna be sharing 10 different things.

These are skincare, uh, plastic surgery related, uh, that you hopefully have never heard of.

So I get a lot of patients who come to see me, and they ask me to fix their earlobe.

Uh, typically, the story is that I, "I was wearing some type of a hoop type of an earring, and something caught it, and it tore through my earlobe." So sometimes people get actual tears through the earlobe, where it's a, an actual tear that goes all the way through.

So the piercing is no longer a hole, but it's more like a slash, like a, almost like a gash, uh, in their earlobe.

And the problem with these, obviously, is that it's hard to wear earrings, and obviously, there's a cosmetic aspect to it as well.

Some people sa- ask me, "Hey, Dr. Youn, can't you just put a stitch in it? Isn't that gonna cause it to heal together?" Well, actually, no.

And the reason why is that if you've got skin on skin and you're trying to suture skin to skin, there's no raw surface to heal together, okay? Skin, if you suture it to other skin, is not gonna fuse magically together.

And so if I have a patient of mine who has a torn earlobe, what you have to do is, quote-unquote, "freshen up the edges" by removing the actual skin, and then you suture the raw tissue to raw tissue, uh, to create basically the healed earlobe.

You let that piercing heal for about six to eight weeks, and then you pierce again next to it.

But what if you don't wanna do all that? Well, that's why you're listening to this podcast.

It adheres to the earlobe, and it's thick enough that you can actually put an earring through it.

It is a temporary solution, uh, to an issue that you may have, but it really does work.

So let's say you've got a torn earlobe, it happened, and you haven't had a chance to get it fixed, and you've got an event you wanna go to, and you've got certain earrings that you wanna wear.

Go on Amazon, and I'll put the link in the caption of this video, and you can buy Lobe Wonder.
