I know a lot of people have looked at what happened to New College and have felt that it might have been fair to want to see some reform, but that what's gone on has really been way beyond that.
They most recently, the board voted to eliminate their alumni association, which, you know, to me is just this dictator move.
So the leadership solution was, we're just going to get rid of the Alumni Association.
But I want to look at the board for the SRQ authority, because This board is, you know, populated with some folks who are just very well-known political donors.
And so, for instance, Jesse Beiter, who is a local developer, he's the secretary of the airport board, and he occupies a Sarasota County seat.
Carlos Baruf is a developer, a very prolific donor to political committees, PACs.
Is it typical for airport boards to, you know, there are political appointees here.
