This Libra season can potentially defined as the deep work of letting go. We begin with the equinox and an invitation to pause, recalibrate, and take stock of what feels balanced – and what doesn’t…
So Libra season begins on Tuesday, September 22nd, as the sun moves into Libra and we experience the equinox, the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere and the spring equinox in the southern hemisphere.
And what I love about the equinoxes is that The word equinox means equal day and night.
So it makes for an equal amount of sunlight and moonlight or daytime and nighttime.
And it's a perfect opportunity to explore what feels in and out of balance in your life.
And what's really lovely about this particular equinox is that we have a few days following the 22nd where we don't have any other outer planetary movements or interplanetary movements for that matter.
And so we have a few days during the four-day period of the equinox where we get to really explore what does... balance mean to me? What needs recalibrating? What do I need to ask for or let go of to find a little more equilibrium? What practices and rituals do I need to cultivate to bring into my life for more harmony, for greater flow, um, ease, um, balance, et cetera.
And it's also an opportunity to ask yourself, what does harmony and balance mean? And to also come into a greater understanding about how harmony and balance are never completely achieved, right? They require consistent tending to and adjusting as life continues and things change moment by moment.
You know, I used to say this in my yoga classes, the earth is constantly rotating on its axis.
So even if you find balance in a standing posture, the next second, we're going to be in a different position and a different position because we're constantly in motion.
And so finding balance, finding harmony, finding flow requires us to consistently adjust.
And also what might look harmonious and balanced to me might be very discordant to you.
So ask yourself what flow, what beauty, what ease, what peace, justice, harmony, all looks like in your life.
