Gork Talk's Hobby Hangovers, Patron Paint Challenge & Under a Purple Sun Warhammer Games Day

So I know there hasn't been an awful lot of... content dropping here on the on the hobby hangout hangovers and i think one of the main reasons for that is probably because it's summer and people are getting out and doing things and enjoying the fine weather because people who live in very cold climates are really looking forward to summer so they can actually get out and get a tan and go and get some exercise or visit friends go on holiday whatever it might be and i hope you guys are enjoying your time in the sun So we'll just go through quickly what people have been dropping here for us to oogle over.

And that's Ted Gunderson's Terminator Squad, which he finished with the Cowabunga Challenge.

And I think this particular image and photo prompted me to think about Space Hulk.

because it's got that iconic red of the terminators that you saw in the first edition space hulk and i think the second edition had also had a wonderful dave gallagher artwork depicting the blood angels combing through the of the xenos infested abandoned hulks and then they're clearing them out i've really enjoyed playing second edition and i hope to play first edition with max he's got a whole load of stuff for first edition and he's painting all the models and And it'd be really good to just experience the first edition of the game as well.

As I played the third edition already, used to have that back in the day.

And I sort of am really sad that I sold that in the end because it was a really nicely painted set.

Everything was painted in it and it looked really nice.

It was actually fun to play.

So, but yeah, anyhow.

Can't harbour on those, you know, things of yesteryear.

Yeah, I've really enjoyed the remote games I played with Chris with second edition.

Some mechanics in there that are different from third edition, especially, but,

you know,

third edition has sort of a blend of all three, I think, or all two of them.

Yes.

So if you haven't experienced Space Hulk, I definitely suggest you go and try it at least once and give it a go and see what you think.

It'd be really nice to see like a cooperative version of Space Hulk if that would ever be realized.

So you could just play against Xenos and not have the Xenos player.

You get to enjoy being the Marines and saving the day.

and collecting those rare artefacts or whatever it might be, your mission might be, to save your fellow brothers.

So that's really good.

Perfect paint job as well on those.

I think he's using all of the war colour paints for this.
