And there's a lot of commonalities and a lot of things that maybe aren't so common, but they always seem to ripple out and somehow touch every part of the global salon economy.

I mean, everyone's running around talking about the industry's changing, the industry's changing.

it was it was cap highlights often uh and it was bleach and color was not a big thing it was primarily color was primarily about the gray market covering gray hair and so you know like i sort of keep hearing frustratingly these you know a lot of people saying how much the industry's changing and it's like hang on it's always changed it's just constantly changing and if you look at The big milestones that have happened over the time you and I have been in the industry, there's been plenty of them that have really had a massive impact on the change of the industry, whether we're talking about domestically in any one country or on a global basis.

And so I started sort of thinking about, well, what are the forces that are changing the industry at the moment? Some of them are just constantly being repackaged, you know, like technology.
