yeah i love that now before the systems before you had things plugged in before you had the va help what did your day actually look like

geez i'm sure it might have been very similar to what you explained in previous episodes and to many of our viewers would be we just want to handle it all right like there's nobody better than to make a sale for your business than yourself there's nobody else to bring somebody new and do all these interviews all and And by yourself, being you, that one person who really wears all the hats, right? The payroll and the advertising and just trying to do it all.

It was just spending hours on end to study the industry and really test the market.

And a lot of it was just me doing the phone calls, picking up, doing the sales, trying to follow up myself, which was really not working once you start growing to like a serious business.

overwhelming right it becomes a lot of work and your focus is so broken up that i mean we believe that we can multitask and i believe some people can totally do it but i think in order to be I don't think there's such thing as being effective multitasker, but in order for us to really be able to move the needle forward, we need that time to be able to do those things and trying to wear all the hats and doing the invoicing, doing the sales, doing all the backend stuff, the scheduling, right? The follow-ups, like that is just, that is time consuming.

It's very helpful in the beginning, but at some point those things need to be delegated.

So you were involved in the sales, the follow ups and the client communication, the whole entire thing?

Yes, I felt I was I thought I was the one person who needed to really just handle it all.

And it got to a point where it just kind of went into your life outside of business and late hours of the day and very early morning hours.

And it was just really not doable, assuming that we will continue to grow in the way that we're doing right now.

So where were you losing the most of your time? Was it like calls, follow-ups, scheduling? What consumed most of your day?

The calls, having to deal with multiple calls coming in, you know, like it's without having VAs, you're getting two, three people wanting to book with you.

And then you're like, oh shoot, you got to call somebody else back by the time it's too late.

The follow-ups, after having a full schedule, you're like, geez, I got to follow up with so many people.

And you kind of, get into a rhythm until, I don't know, there's a certain point in the week or weekend that you don't really remain consistent.

How else are we going to get recurring clients if we don't have a repeatable process, right, with these clients? And that was really very super time consuming.

Also with the reviews, right? You want to make sure that you have an happy customer to continue getting those reviews.

We're currently the, I think the second business that has the most reviews here in the city of San Diego.
