And so [laughs]
Yeah.
It's just a really busy season.
Like, there's homework, there's all the things, and you wanna be invested in your marriage, too.
So I kinda wanna start with a little of your wisdom because you've been married 43 years and doing ministry for so long.
So I know that you have insight to share about the good and the hard, too.
So I would just be curious, what do you think are a few things or, like, one main thing that sustain a marriage long term?
Well, I'll start, and I'll say it's prayer.
It's just huge.
I remember being in a season similar to you or maybe a little bit younger.
Our children were younger than where yours are right now.
Mm-hmm.
And I just remember cleaning my house and cooking and, you know, the laundry was never done-
Yeah.
[laughs]
... and activities here, there, and everywhere.
And I just honestly felt overwhelmed, and I was like, "I can't do any of this well." And one day, I just kinda sat down and I thought, "If I could do one thing well, what's the number one thing that I'm just gonna pour my heart into to do well?" And I thought it's really prayer-
Mm-hmm
... because if I pray, I could multiply my time.
Could...
That would help me accomplish other things.
It would be upon us.
It would help us raise our children.
It would help our marriage.
And so [laughs]
