Sadhbh McLoughlinHostSo my first ever job, I worked in a, for two weeks, in an eco c- okay, if we're not counting babysitting, 'cause I babysat, um, for a long time.
Uh, lots of small children, and toilets where the toilet was, you open a door, walk in, there was these wooden benches with holes in them, and under each hole was a bucket with sawdust.
And some of the kids whose parents arrived late would, like, obviously stay.
But we had, [laughs] we had, um, started clearing up, 'cause this was later than usual.
So we took the buckets to throw them out, right? So there was just no buckets under the hole.
And then I remember walking back in with the bucket in my hand and going, "No." This little boy, God love him, this little boy was sitting on the bench on the little toilet, makeshift toilet, doing a, doing a poop under the floor, which I had to clean up.
Then when I move- went to college, when, in Ireland, the first summer I was ...
Isn't that crazy? [laughs] No, isn't that crazy, coming from me? [laughs] Be serious right now.
But I regret not having more fun in my first year summer, between first and second year of university.
I was like, I got so s- I got it in my head that I was like, "No, I need to stay here and work.
I need to get a job, because then I can have that job for the next couple of years in the university." Which I'm like, okay, hustle mentality.
