The Challenge: Roundtable Reacts...to a Stalemate!!!

Hello, Challenge fans, and welcome to the Challenge Roundtable Reacts.

I know we are a few days late.

We have had some issues getting our calendars all synced up, and we haven't quite got everyone here.

The Americans are not here, but joining me on the Roundtable today are my two favourite Challenge-watching Brits.

First up, he's here, he's smiling, and he's bravely decided that spending an evening talking about the Challenge is preferable to discussing literally anything that may or may not have happened in Manchester today.

So please, everyone, be sensitive.

Don't mention football.

Don't mention the colour blue.

And under absolutely no circumstances, ask him about the offside rule.

It's Ryan! How are you doing, Ryan? Yeah, that was superb.

That was a really good intro.

The first time I've laughed in about 25 minutes.

Probably longer, actually, what we're talking about.

I'm really enjoying George's...

I've only just spotted George's screen name this week, which is excellent.

And yeah, as I say, I'm just trying to avoid any conversation about sport.

So apart from our great sport...

The fifth sport of the United States.

And that is the challenge round table.

Yes.

No, that's our podcast hosted by me, Levi Hall, who I didn't introduce myself.

But now I introduce the next member of this panel.

He's another Brit.

And normally...

I prepare a proper introduction for this guy.

But then I thought, why should I put more preparation into his intro than he puts into watching the challenge? So this is a man who has been on a challenge podcast for years and still approaches every episode like a supply teacher who's been handed the lesson plan five minutes before the kids arrive.

His knowledge of the show is less an encyclopedia and more a leaflet.

Ask him about War of the Worlds and suddenly he's TJ Lavin.

Ask him about anything else and you can physically hear his brain buffering.

So at this point, He isn't really a challenge expert.

He's just a man that accidentally joined a challenge podcast and is simply too polite to leave.

Yes, it's classic George.

I don't think

anyone would ever accuse you of being polite.

I was just about to say,

that's where the intro falls down.

It was pretty good up till then.

What's the thing for the real world? Stop being polite and start being real.

I'm fucking real, boys.

Just to have an intro, I do have one question.

Have you seen the real world? I've watched that one clip that you, me and Brian, uh, watched about 15 times.

I actually had to watch it twice because I was really hungover on the Thursday when I was going to do this with Ryan and just none of the episode was staying in my head.

So I had to watch it again 45 minutes before we were going to jump on the pod.

And still not much stayed in my head.

So I've now actually watched it a third time and Googled it.

And I think I've got some stuff to say.

But this might be quite a non-challenge-focused podcast.

Which sounds

like every podcast we ever do.

We're a bit better behaved when you're on, actually, Levi.

I've realized I think you might be the one who keeps us on the straight and narrow.
