Do you do you think we're in a good, you know, I think when we think about hip hop in 2026, you think it's a good landscape.
You think we have, you know, a lot of good music still coming out or how do you think how you see the landscape of hip hop right now?
Yeah, I think there's so, I mean, as I just mentioned, there's so much music coming out.
It gets to the point where it's easy to go like, there's no good stuff coming out because it's harder to find just because there's so much stuff.
But I think if you're just looking at good quality music, yeah, right now it's a very fertile landscape.
So some of our heroes have taken a couple of losses lately, like outcasts, suing, overcasts.
What are we doing? Why would you ever do that? That sort of thing, right? I remember, I think it was last year or the year before, uh, um, friggin uh what was the book the marcus moore book three feet in three feet high and rising and they they're they weren't suing him but they were like don't buy this book what are y'all doing what are you doing it's such a good book it's it's like advocating for your place in the in the like regular conversation of hip-hop lore like a couple of our heroes have taken some some bad losses lately but yeah great music right now great music
I want to also talk about why we're, you know, in pop culture, talk a little bit about your sub stack.
I got to ask you, has there been any you have this really cool thing where you've got to have this invoice.
Is there a classic movie that owes you money? And then is there a underrated movie that like owes you no money?
Well, if we're saying classic, do you mean like a like an older movie, like in that sense? Or do you mean a movie viewed as this is a movie everybody else loves, but I don't for whatever reason.
