And I wanna start with a proverb, Proverbs chapter 3, and this is one that's quoted often.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding." That implies that when we try to call the shots, we're gonna go the wrong direction.
So lean not on your own understanding because our limited thinking, uh, doesn't see everything or know everything, and sometimes we even have negative thinking or some negative cycles.
And not being double-minded, removing and rejecting doubts that wanna hinder our faith.
To acknowledge Him is to acknowledge that His thoughts and ways are higher, and to acknowledge Him is to keep Jesus at the center.
Fear the Lord and shun evil." There's a lot of ways that look right to us, but in the end, they lead to death.
They lead to unfortunate and unnecessary pain and suffering because we're going our own direction.
