Proverbs 3

Welcome back to the Christian Meditation Podcast and the ReCenter with Christ app at episode 893 of Freeform Christian Meditation on Proverbs 3, verses 3-8.

I try to do that through two different styles of meditation.

So everything we do should be unto the Lord and everything that God does on our behalf is for our strengthening, is for our blessing.

Learn to turn your heart continually to the Lord.

Now we're gonna read from Proverbs 3, verses three through eight in the NAV translation.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you.

Bind them around your neck.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3 verses 5 to 6 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.

When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid.

Yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

Proverbs 3 verse 23 and 24 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Proverbs 3 verse 26 Enter not into the path of the wicked, and walk not in the way of evil men.

Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass on.

Proverbs 4, verse 14, Revised Version There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

He will give us what we need to take the next step.

Proverbs 3, verses 5 and 6.

Climb that mountain, take that leap of faith, and survive the storms of life.

Next time you're feeling worn down by life, go to God.

But sometimes we have to ask, am I seeking God or am I seeking certainty? Because those are two very different things.

Proverbs 3 tells us to trust in the Lord rather than to lean entirely on our own understanding.

But trusting God doesn't mean God promises perfect information before every decision, right? We need faith because faith requires trust.

And at some point, you pray, you seek wisdom, and you make the best decision that you can.

So you want God to bless your business, but you're not allowing God to control your business.

Proverbs 3, 5, and 6, and Proverbs 6 and 3, read it yourself.

But God isn't obligated to bless what He wasn't invited to govern, okay? If you have not invited God into your business at all, in any of your decision-making, in any of your idea generation, in any of that, don't expect God to bless it.

So even though for me, and this is why...

So the way of offering number one is he's after your heart, okay? So he wants you first before your business.

The heave offering is the offering that reveals what you worship.

In Numbers 18, 8 to 19, I don't have time to go over that, and Proverbs 3, 9, the heave offering was a contribution lifted up, honor in tangible form.

It's their first fruits, okay? But let's move past, let's give it to God because you can tithe and still worship money, okay? So let me just put it, let me put it this way.
