Toys For Tots

All right, so after the traditional fall events that we have here in Albuquerque, you know, the burning of Zozobra leading into Labor Day weekend and the New Mexico State Fair, and then we just wrapped up the Balloon Fiesta, the next big event that always kicks off in that weekend after Balloon Fiesta wraps up is the annual ride for Toys for Tots, Albuquerque, and joining us now to talk more about that, our good buddy, Paul Caputo.

Paul, it's always a pleasure to have you on the program.

How are you doing today?

We're doing really good.

Can I call back and be the seventh caller?

Now you're stuck with us.

Oh, okay.

You're stuck with us right now, Paul.

We'll see if we can't help you out, though, at some point down the road.

How's everything going in terms of getting ready for Sunday's big event?

It's going.

I mean, this year, there's just a lot going on

with the

economy the way it is.

Things are a little bit slow with people requesting boxes and just getting everything off the ground.

Plus I've had a change in my Marine side coordinators.

So, you know, every time there's a change, there's no ideas and stuff like that.

Sure.

But, you know, it's going, I mean, we're pushing it out.

Every place I can think of that helps us is pushing it out.

It's all over Facebook, you know, social media is important.

Um, and it's going to be what it's going to be.

You know, it's, a string of events every Sunday for a

month.

So I think, you know, it's like anything else.
