Episode #1: Glenn & Pete

[upbeat music] All right, I'm not gonna waste an awful lot of time going through the whole thing.

I already gave you the spiel, okay? I'm bored, okay? I've been in retirement for a while.

Two hip surgeries, yes.

Second one didn't go well.

I'm not going through the whole thing again.

I'm bored.

I wanna have some fun, and so why not put a podcast together and go back and reconnect with some of my old friends and just have fun? I mean, right? Why not do that? So the question is, who do you pick as the first guest? Well, I did a poll.

Most people wanted Larry Bird as the first guest.

No, you didn't get Larry Bird as your first guest.

Uh, somewhere down the line, Larry Bird, I'm hoping, will be a guest on this podcast.

But I decided on going with somebody that I spent an awful lot of time with, somebody that I thought was really beneficial to my career, 'cause he really pumped up a show.

He's crazy as shit, there's no question about that.

He's knowledgeable.

He's emotional, almost to the point where sometimes I really felt like he needed medication, okay? And he might need medication for this podcast.

So I selected as our first guest on this podcast the one and only Pete "The Meat" Shepherd.
