I was jumping from thing to thing, short-term rentals, mobile home parks.

I'd leave every three months we'd have an event and I would leave with a new invigoration for an entirely different industry.

Turns out it's really hard to start from scratch every three months.

So I'd get six weeks into it and I'd be like, oh.

No, they make it seem easy because they've been doing it for 15 years.

So I really needed to learn that lesson.

And that was a two and a half to three year lesson that I needed to learn paying for education, paying for relationships.

Um, and when I finally came out of that, dude, I was sitting right here at this desk.

I'm like, I have got to figure it out.

I had wasted tens of thousands of dollars putting earnest money deposits down on projects that never closed in boarding, even close to closing because I didn't have my mind in the right space.

My entire mindset was, I have to buy real estate so I can be successful in this group.

I have to buy real estate so I'll be something or someone.

And that was the completely wrong methodology to walk forward in.

So I decided multifamily real estate.

I'm going to put my blinders on.

And honestly, this was a huge faith moment for me, too, because, you know, I'm not sure if your listeners are faith based, but I certainly am.

And I honestly needed to give my business to God.

It has nothing to do with me, my level of success.
