A LILLE CONCERNED - Injury Silliness Ahead of Champions League Clash

Anyway, let's have a look at what Mikel Arteta said.

He probably didn't say much about the Bermuda Triangle.

Uh, let me bring up the quotes from yesterday.

I'll go through it.

As you well know, I find the press conferences incredibly boring, so I'm gonna go through this as quickly as possible.

On Hincapie and Zubimendi injuries, he said, "We lost two players in two unfortunate actions.

They're both going to miss tomorrow's match," today's.

"Piero's one looks a little more serious, but we'll have to wait and see." So I don't know if you saw, I'm sure you saw, I mentioned it yesterday.

Hincapie and Zubimendi injured during the warm-down after Leeds.

What the flying fudgery.

He's talking about Eze.

He was asked about Eze's season so far.

He says they need to earn, the players need to earn the right to play through training sessions, and when you are on that pitch, make the impact that the game and team needs.

His attitude has always been phenomenal.

Interesting.

He's not getting out of Eze what he wants maybe.

Is that what we're to intuit from that? On avoiding injuries during warm-downs, a very key question, he said, "Very easy.

You don't train.

Never train, and they don't get injured.

That's why the consequence of that is when they have to play, they have no rhythm.

And when you ask them to play, they're going to have no impact on the game.

That could happen at the Emirates.

It never happened in the seven years that I've been here.

But what can you do? If I knew I had a crystal ball," yeah, "I'd say, 'Guys, go in the jacuzzi, everybody, and see you tomorrow.'" He was obviously joking when he says, "That's easy.

You don't train." He's saying you have to train.
