there's two ways like receding is probably the gold standard method to put it in clover but you can also do it through over sowing so generally look at it does work best doing it earlier in the year compared to autumn autumn can be a bit more difficult to keep clover contents good because it might get a little bit heavy before the winter and you might not get it grazed off at the right cover so get it in earlier in the year whether it be over sowing or receding you have a better chance to keep the covers right and get your post-emergence spray and keep that clover in the sward.
