The Beckler and Seanna Podcast
Oct 6, 2026 · 33 min · 26 segments
Beckler & Seanna talk about loud dogs, an Only Fans conspiracy, and play FMK with autumn couple activities.
We were talking about the strip club yesterday on the show.
And I was telling one of our coworkers about when I lived in northern B.C.
There was a bar in town that would have, that had a strip, like a strip pole and a stage.
And strippers would come through and do a week stint there.
Oh, right.
It was like a traveling circuit, right? Yeah.
And often I don't think it was like the top tier talent that was making their way up into Northern BC.
Okay.
But every once in a while, a really hot stripper would come through and word would spread throughout the town.
Oh, yeah.
That the stripper that week was hot.
For sure.
And then the place would be busy.
Oh, yeah.
That makes sense.
And the scrumblings of the hot stripper.
That's right.
And our friend at work here was like, was that the job of the town crier? To let everyone know that the stripper was hot? And I learned that there is still the odd town crier position.
What?
There are still towns that have a town crier.
They cry to town.
Yeah.
Okay.
Typically for ceremonial or historical recreation purposes, but a lot of these towns will have an official town crier.
There are even town crier competitions.
