Can you kind of share some of the values that you're looking to instill into them as they're growing up? Yeah,
You know, just maybe you can sense for me, like be passionate, be curious is something that I'm just, I'm really big on with my girls.
Like just being passionate in everything that you're doing, you know, whether it's through my work, and the things that I do here at Kidda, but also in our community, the friends we have, being passionate about those friendships, our church community here in Raleigh, et cetera.
And making sure that they see that, I think it's going to really put a good impression on that and really set them up really well for the future about what The things that they have to look forward to and be passionate about in their lives, you know, be curious is the other thing I would say are like, you know, they I don't really need to teach them that they're so curious about, you know, whether it's going outside nature walks, new things, whatever it is, they're kind of that way, but always just looking to read more to learn more.
listen to podcasts, whatever it might be, you know, just kind of have that mentality as they grow up.
So I think one other thing that I would say too, is my parents really instilled this in me is to just, and it's very simple kind of a thing, but just to be nice to everyone and, you know, meet, you know, meet them where they're at.
But just always treating everybody with respect kind of in every aspect of life is something that my wife and I are just really, really big on.
They're young, but we're going to continue to instill in them as they get older.

Being curious, I think, is something that, especially the kids at your age, man, I just remember, like, my daughters, if we go for a walk, my oldest, when she was super young, and she, today, we still like butterflies, but, like, the passion she had for butterflies and the things that, like, my youngest had for her would just be, like, just fascinating.

know a tree or certain things when we are walking or they're learning how to walk we're going for walks outside and i think that kids are a great reminder for the the certain things that we take for granted as adults just because obviously with our schedules and time and all this other stuff but like the fact that you're trying to instill that you know curiosity in them is great and also too like being kind to people i think this world would be a great place if everyone had that mantra or instilling that like i remember my daughters one time we were at like a grocery store And like Harris Teeter, you know Harris Teeter.

So like we were hanging out, not hanging out, but we were at this cash and I was like, hey, you know, how you doing? How's your day going? And she's like, oh, thanks.

And my daughters were like, like saying to me like hey it was really nice you asked her because like looks like you kind of threw her off guard on a good on a good side right because she was like oh okay this person kind of cares it's just those little things whether you hold a door for somebody or whatever it is like just being kind i think goes a long way so i love that you're instilling that into that man
