Episode 1,433: Jayden Daniels steps up at presser and takes full responsibility for end-of-game blunder and more

Feedback on the Washington Commanders off the tie with the New York Giants.

The emails continue to pour in, especially regarding, of course, the all-time end-of-game blunder.

Uh, emails from a great sponsor of this podcast, Dr. George Verghese of the Mid-Atlantic Skin Surgery Institute of Maryland writes, Dr. Verghese, "DQ into that space.

[chuckles] Josh Harris, please send DQ into outer space.

Let Anthony Lynn take over and keep the coordinators.

Hire Tomlin at end of the year.

There you have it, Al.

Also, Bullets and Redskins forever.

Why is Ted so hard-headed about that stupid Wizards name? No one is protesting Bullets.

He has plenty of money to make the change back." Thank you for the emails, Dr.

Verghese, uh, as he commented on something that we talked about on Wednesday's show, episode 1,431, a report from Washington Wizards insider Josh Robbins of The Athletic on Tuesday morning saying that the Wizards are considering a rebrand but not a name change.

The Washington Wizards 100% should go back to being the Washington Bullets.

Email from Billy D. in Florida writes, Billy D., "Hey, Al, love the pod.

I have been a Dan Quinn supporter since he was hired, but after Sunday, I am done.

The tie was inexcusable.

Time to fire Quinn and hire Tomlin.

I have had enough." Thank you for the email, Billy D.

So multiple calls for Wash-Washington's next head coach to be former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin.

I have a lot of respect for what Tomlin did over his 19 seasons as Steelers head coach.

Yeah, 19 seasons, 2007 through 2025.

Uh, not a single losing regular season.

Uh, regular season winning percentage of 628.

But what's also true is that Tomlin, over his last nine seasons as Steelers head coach, did not have a single playoff win, and he, for Washington, would be a retread, defensive-minded, culture builder, CEO head coach.

And as I on the podcast have been saying, I'm over that.

I don't want that in Washington's next head coach.
