Music Monday | Ep179 - Texas On Shine

So, Texas on Shine.

I just want to bring the spotlight to two Texas artists and one who I think we really don't give enough credit to.

Of course, Solange knows Beyonce's younger sister, a Houston native.

She was born in 1986 in Houston, Texas.

So Solange has created herself to be an actress, a director, and so look yeah i know she was in johnson family vacation yep

mm-hmm

in uh 2004. so that was one of the good shows uh one of the first movies that she was in um i'm trying to think who who else she appeared in johnson's face was that uh and senator the entertainer

and steve harvey

and steve harvey so that was a good you know family show that i'm sure got millions and millions of views or purchases or however you know movie wise but that was a great show for her to be in you know to help bring her out and then she was in uh bring it on

bring it on uh-huh

in uh 2006. so she's had a pretty good career considering she's in the shadow of older sister beyonce you know a lot of times when these artists have older siblings know it's kind of like they shadow them but they're only in the shadow they never get out of that behind being sister or brother to you know

that's beyonce's sister

right you know and she's not because um people like her you know a lot of people like um solange they just don't see her much you know but she has been Doing other things.
