So you've seen, you've done a lot of Outlast events, and this weekend we have Outlast OKC.

Uh, you've seen a lot, you've had a lot of in, interesting experiences with people.

You know, when you go to a race, people kind of have some ways of doing things before a race, during a race, after a race.

So, um, is there anything in particular that you've seen runners do that makes them, uh, a little more unprepared going into a race? Because you've seen people that do Outlast, and you've seen the people that don't finish.

For me, the most unprepared people I've seen not finish an Outlast race, um, are people that maybe they've done a 5K or 10K before and that's it, and they didn't really, like, train for the race.

They maybe have done a few miles, um, going into it, but they didn't train for the time on feet.

And so for me, I've, the, the most unprepared people I've seen at a trail race are people that simply just don't put the proper training in going into it, and they think, you know, walking or doing a little three-mile run before is enough to do it.

Like, people show up to the race, and then they don't have enough time to use the restroom, and so they're faced with the, uh, dilemma of do I use the restroom or do I start with the race? [laughs]
