We talk a lot about teacher burnout, right? We talk about taking care of ourselves, teacher burnout, all those different things.
What do you do personally, both of you, to protect your joy of teaching?
That's hard because we are part-time, so I don't know that it's fair.
Not fair, but I don't know if it's equal that we say working part-time helps with our burnout, but it does.

Yeah, that definitely helps us.
But I think also everyone will say this and it's not possible sometimes.
I would tell you in September, It's not possible, especially if you're working full time, to have a work-life balance with everything they put on you, right? With all the assessments and everything that everyone has to do.

That's how.
Yeah.
But for a full-time teacher, like, honestly, it's hard.
It's challenging.
Whether you have a family or not, whether you still have your personal life, you probably have, whether you have children or not, you probably have your own family, and it's a lot on teachers.
It's really hard right now.
I am the queen of disassociation, so I just ignore everything in the world and go about my day, and that's how I find my joy with it and just enjoy the students because none of it is their fault.
