In our 291st episode, the Tantrum House crew talk about going to Origins, expecting Gen Con, and planning TantrumCon. Sponsors: AEG, Bezier…
But before we jump into that, we, of course, like to start off our episodes by talking about some of the games that have been on the table recently.
One of the games that we got to play tonight, I think everybody in the room got to play it, is from AEG, which is one of our season sponsors.
one word one big word if you look it up online or bgg somewhere it's one word jumble jack i looked it up two words initially i'm like couldn't find it what in the world is ag not putting
found it eventually found it played it tonight uh it is a are we calling it a social deduction game what's the uh what's the official genre style of this game
Yeah, it's probably like party, a little bit of social deduction since each person has an identity, a pirate that has certain items or accessories that they're wearing or not wearing.
It is a deduction game, so it has a little bit of that clue, like everybody's going to kind of reveal one thing about them so that other people can narrow it down.
Everything on it is magnetic, so you can stick the magnetic hook hand onto the doll.
And everybody receives a card at the beginning of the game that shows them what their identity is, and they don't want to be stuck with the doll in front of them while matching the outfit or whatever combination shown on the card.
