I am your host, Kate Arkadiev today, and I have a very exciting episode to host for you guys.

Today, we actually do have one of our own staff members joining us on the podcast, and it is not your typical patient care episode, but it is perspective of a healthcare professional.

But as always, as we always do, I will get our guests to introduce themselves, let us know who they are, where they're located in Australia, And I guess for this person, what they do in their background and their role here at the Leukemia Foundation.

I work in the New South Wales team and I'm based in Newcastle in New South Wales, so two hours north of Sydney.

In my previous life, which is really only a few years ago, I worked as a dietitian.

So I graduated with a Bachelor's of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2010 and and worked across a variety of different settings and locations.
