Your Life Is Running Out. What Are You Spending It On? by Ps. John Perry

Your life is being spent whether you realize it or not. **The real question is: What are you spending it on?** Preaching from **2 Timothy 4:6–8**, Pastor John Perry confronts one of the unavoidable realities of life. Our time is limited. Every day takes something out of us. Like the battery in your phone, your life is constantly draining. You cannot choose whether your life will be spent. You can choose what it will be spent on. In this message, Pastor Perry challenges believers to live with eternal purpose, to fight a fight worth fighting, finish a race worth finishing, and keep a faith worth keeping. **One line captures the message:** *“Don't just die old. Die finished.”* The tragedy isn't simply that life is short. The tragedy is pouring your life into something that ultimately doesn't matter. **Main Scripture:** 2 Timothy 4:6–8 **Additional Scriptures:** Romans 12:1, 2 Corinthians 12:15, 1 Corinthians 15:31, Matthew 24:46, Hebrews 9:27 **Original sermon title:** You've Got to Die From Something If this message challenged you, share it with someone who needs to reconsider what they're giving their life to. ### YouTube Chapters 00:00 — The Sermon’s Opening: Death and Purpose 03:09 — The Question Behind the Message 05:04 — “You’ve Got to Die From Something” 06:32 — Pouring Your Life Out for God 09:06 — Sin, Death, and Eternity 14:33 — Becoming a Living Sacrifice 18:09 — Spending Your Life on What Matters 22:10 — Life Is Like a Draining Battery 24:31 — Don’t Just Die Old—Die Finished 27:44 — Fight, Race, and Faith: Finishing Well * * * **Find a CFM Church near you:** https://cfmmap.org **Enjoying Taking the Land?
