Jonny and Phil unpack Warlord’s new Armies of the Commonwealth book, a standalone V3 supplement covering Australia, Canada, East Africa Command, India, New Zealand and South Africa. They explain how…
I guess we'll jump straight in because people want to know all about this book.
The first thing I think is probably worth talking about is how you use the book.
Is it a supplement? Is it a standalone book? Do I get to take my free Indian squad with my other national characteristics? All that fun stuff that we hadn't been to.
Yeah, broad strokes.
So it's armies of the Commonwealth.
Well, armies of the British Commonwealth.
Thank you, Johnny.
I was stalling there.
And the way the book works is each nation has a particular set of national special rules.
Each nation has a number of specific units to that nation.
And then at the back, so the second half of the book, there is a long section, which is all the generic Commonwealth units.
underneath each of the six nations there will be a list of which units from this generic selection you can take and also whether they're early mid or late so it's a standalone book so you don't have to have the armies of great britain in order to use this book everything you need to play one of those six nations is contained within the book
you've given me a brilliant idea for a tournament actually phil we could play six nations couldn't we
we could play six nations yeah or seven if you want to include great britain as well yeah
