The only ones that the Warlord and Barbarian are better than in kayfabe is, uh, the Bolsheviks.

Number seven on the list is Warlords, which is the top-selling original VCS game, at least according to the rankings on this particular list.

Some of you might say, "But Alex, that's a coin-op conversion.

There was a Warlords coin-op game." But if you'd listened to, uh, our Advanced Ball and Paddles episode that I referenced a moment ago, you would know that these games were actually developed at the same time Both born from the same concept from Roger Hector, who brainstormed it at a game brainstorming session.

The VCS version actually came out before the coin-op version.

Neither one influenced the other.

Combat's the only other super-duper good competitive game.

There's some other competitive games, but it's the other one that's kinda good.

I don't think I've ever been called anybody's favorite streamer.

Does Warlord show up in this series at all or not really?

Yeah, I think he shows up for a few panels.

Nothing, nothing that's a major character, but, yeah, I think he's in a background or they probably have him say a couple lines, you know, other than that, but.
